Had two 1/2 day trips today fished for whitebass in 10 to 20 ft. of water with 1oz. man-o-lures and cleaned a 118 and one 15in. walleye. Had one large school of whites busting on the surface and caught them on two jig rigs and spoons fished fast on the surface. These fish came up around 11 am and stayed up for 20 min. or so. All our fish today were caught from point 3 north on main lake sand bars.

Monday, May 30th, 2005We fished yesterday, had both boats out with clients from 9am to about 3pm and had 57 white bass and one 15 1/2 inch walleye that we kept between the 2 boats and 6 total people fishing. We threw back lots of small fish, had quite a few drum perch up to 7 pounds. We caught all of our fish in the 15 - 22 fooot range on jigging spoons on main lake sand bars on the edge of the drop offs. We probably are not going to get out there today, we have to clean up Our Old House and get it ready for more guests to come in tomorrow - if we get finished with time left, we are going to try to get out there for a bit and will post if we do.
Went back out today from about 3 to 5:30 (just us) - We caught 2 small large mouth and a few white bass - We were casting the banks for walleye. We had a few close calls with the musky with our crankbait!
