Barb and I went looking for shollow whites today. It was so hot we did more riding then fishing. We didn’t have much luck, but we did find lots of bait fish and I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before the whites are feeding in the shollows.

Barb and I fished for bass with worms and jigs on deep points for 2 hrs. without a bite. Then we went shallow with rattle-trap and craink baits and started catching fish. We caught small bass and whites on wind blown banks from point 2 south until the heat got so bad we gave up and came home to the A. C.

We fished for bass and looked for whites just to stay with them . We found whites coming up on top and also on the bottom 17 to 21 ft. The whites on top were in the middle of the lake in 40+ ft. of water and you could catch them on 2 jig rigs. The deep fish we caught on man-o-lures. The bass fishing was slow , Barb had 1 short fish on a worm in 4 ft. of water.
