Got caught up on the yard work today will be on the lake tomorrow looking for the whites.

Fished for bass today with 2 clients from point 3 south. We tried top water, spinner baits, crank baits,worms and rattle-l-traps without much luck. We spent the last hour catching buffalo on 1 oz. man-o-lures just for fun, our 1st. 5 was well over 100 lbs.

Fished for whites with clients with 1oz. man-o-lures and 2 jig rigs. We caught fish all day deep and shallow, but there was not much wind in the morning and the deep fish were our best. After dinner the wind picked up and so did the shallow bite for whites and large mouth bass. If you are looking to catch some big fish for fun, the buffalo are schooled up in deep water and will hit the jigging spoons. We have had fish from 10 to 30 lbs. plus and they do pull hard.

We had 4 keepers in the ITT today that was 11.38 lbs. and gave us 9th. place. Barb caught 1 on a rattle-trap and 2 on a 10 in. worm and I had one on a zip stick top water bait. We finished 3 rd. over all for the year and will be going to Clinton for the classic.

We didn’t fish today.

We are still looking for bass for Sunday and we hope we found some, we’ll let you know Sunday night.

Barb and I fished for bass today trying to locate some fish for the ITT comming up this Sunday. We fished deep and shallow with all kinds of baits to catch 2 shorts and one keeper.

Just couldn’t find time for fishing today, to much work to do.

Fished with 2 clients for whites today and found them deep and shallow all day long. We caught the shallow fish on the 2 jig rig and the deep one’s on man-o-lures. We kept 93 and put at least that many back. Fished the sand bars from 1 to 25 ft. deep from point 3 south.

We did make it on the lake today from 2 to 4 pm. looking for those bass. We fished deep and shallow to catch 2 fish one short and one keeper.

No fishing for us today.
