I’m glade I didn’t have to fish in the rain today. We do have some openings for Nov. and the crappie fishing is getting better.

Was a very slow morning fishing for whites, we only had a few and some small large mouth. The coves are starting to clear, but the the fish are not there yet. The water temp is in the mid 50’s and as the coves clear back up the fishing will get better.

Fished with one client for whites today from noon to 4 pm. The coves and creeks have made a magor turnover and the water is a dark brown and the fish have moved out. We started fishing main lake wind blown banks and picked up 24 that we kept, all were caught shallow on the 2 jig rig.

We fished for the whites today and kept 83 and 2 nice crappie . The 2 jig rig in shallow water was the way to go ,most came out of the coves and creeks. A lot of the water has truned over in the coves and when we found water that had not turned yet ,that was where we got our fish. We caught one 3 lb. bass and some short ones ,all were released.

I’ll be out there the next 2 days, but I didn’t make it to day. Be sure and check the message board their is some good news about the crappie fishing on it , thanks for the info. and lets hope it just gets better.

Won’t fish agian till fri. , but I hear the crappie are doing good.

Had two clients today and fished for whites all day . We found them in very shallow water in the creeks and coves from point 6 south. We used the 2 jig rig to catch 45 whites and 1 -12 in. crappie that we kept. We had to move a lot and when we found the shad we caught fish.

Fished the day for whites with one client. It was a cold windy day and we had to fish a lot of water to find some fish. We used the 2 jig rig to catch the 33 we kept and had another big musky on till he jumped and got the jig.

Did not fish today, but will be fishing this comming week and still have wed. and thur. open if anyone wants a trip give me a call.

Fished for whites today with the 2 jig rig in shallow water with 2 and myself for a full day trip. We fished a lot of water and found it to be very slow for the most part. Most our fish came out of the bigger creeks and coves and they were right on the banks. We caught lots of small large mouth bass and two keepers ,also had a big musky on the jigs till he made a jump and threw the jig. We only had 24 whites for day, it should have been better , but thats fishing ….
