Fished 8am to noon for whites, caught a lot kept 67 and released the rest. We found them in 18 to 26 ft on the sand bars from point 3 south. We used the 1oz Mann-o-lure jigging spoons in any color and fished them on the bottom. Water temp is still in the mid to upper 60’s and the lake is 3in. below summer pool and coming up. Seen some big logs floating in open water so careful out there and have a good weekend.

Fished 4hrs for crappie and had 5 keepers and lots of small ones. We used 1/4 oz. tube jigs on the points, caught fish from 2 to 15 ft. on wood ( stumps and down trees). We went for whites after noon and used the 1oz. Mann-O-Lure spoons in 20 to 23 ft. of water on the sand bars on the main lake. It was very windy and not easy on the open water trying to hold the boat , we did good and kept 71.

Fished with the same guys the last 3 days and the whites made it worth there time. The crappie were slow the first 2 days , but the bite got better today for the small ones and we only had 1 keeper. The whites were really on and we keep 99 nice ones and released that many or more. Once again we found them stacked up on the drops 20 to 25 ft. deep right on the bottom. The 1oz. Man-o-Lure is hard to beat for those deep fish. You can get the Man-O-Lures spoons at the spillway motel office or the bait shop at wolf creek state park, tell them Don sent you.

We fished 4 hrs for crappie to day with NO luck, so we went looking for the whites with 1oz. Man-o-Lures in 15 to 20 ft of water. In 3hrs we keep 56 and released about that many, looks like we should have a good year for them.
